It Started with One Little Girl
KALM didn't begin in a laboratory.
It began with a father watching his six-year-old daughter scratch until she bled.

Like so many parents, AJ and his wife tried everything they could find.
Natural remedies.
Over-the-counter creams.
Special routines.
Nothing seemed to last.
Their doctor prescribed a strong steroid cream that had to be applied several times a day. While it temporarily reduced the inflammation, it also came with concerns about long-term use and led to recurring infections caused by immune suppression.
